MESSAGE FROM A FORMER STUDENT

MRS. AGNES WANGUI N

A former student in Maina Wanjigi. She schooled here in the years 1990 – 1993.
As she recalls her student years, her Principal Mr. Muruiki. By then there were classes they used to attend classes in the Eastleigh Airport Primary School. When she was admitted here, she really regretted why she came here since the school had no infrastructure but she recalls the exact words the principal told her, “You don’t know what you are refusing!!” as she insisted she didn’t want to study here.
“The school was least known and had no reputation and once we attend functions in other schools we had to remove our sweaters to conceal our identity! The School had no gate, no toilets, no classes and very few teachers.
However, am amazed how far this school has come. The two story classes, the dormitory, the two story fully furnished Administration Block, school bus, and the number of students and committed teachers.
I love this school and next year my daughter will school here.
And I’d like to urge the students to work hard now that the school has infrastructure and has really developed.”
